Essential Functions for the Associate Director Montgomery County Programming
- Meet all program performance requirements as established by the program funders. This includes client contact goals, documentation and any necessary reporting.
- Ensure attainment of program financial goals as established in yearly budget commitments.
- Review Key Performance Indicators sheet and follow up monthly with supervisors/coordinators on areas needing improvement and to recognize great performance. Ensure continuous quality improvement through the monitoring of goal completion, audit checks and the meeting of deadlines.
- Lead a motivated team that can work independently and make decisions with minimal direction by providing instructive and supportive supervision to direct reports 40 hours a year in a formal setting.
- Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Social Work If the degree is in an unrelated field then the candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the social services field.
- One to three years of experience supervising, mentoring or proven leadership abilities.
- A valid driver's license, a motor vehicle report that meets agency requirements and reliable transportation that can safely transport clients if needed.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule that occasionally includes evenings.
- Ability to complete the pre-employment physical and drug test requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work or other related field. If the degree is in an unrelated field then the candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the social services field.
- Three or more years experience working with youth and young adults.
- Social Work licensure is a plus.
- Ability to utilize Google Workspace and an Electronic Health Record/Case Management system.
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
- Able to climb in and out of vehicle multiple times per day
- Reach with hands and arms and sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk, working on a computer
