Essential Functions of the Program Supervisor of Street Outreach:
- To provide regular scheduled high-quality direction and supervision to direct service staff fostering a positive youth/human development environment.
- To monitor and ensure quality service delivery and safety in compliance with Valley Youth House standards of practice, program regulations, funding contracts, or other service agreements including mobile housing assessments and housing program intakes.
- To prepare a monthly statistical report for review by project management staff, to ensure that required data is input into all required funder databases and submit required program reports.
- Understand and manage program budget; ensure responsible fiscal decision-making by the direct service team members.
- To support the day-to-day operations of the Drop and the Youth Designated Access point including coordinating food service, drop in programming, housing assessments, shelter referrals, and coordination with housing programs.
Minimum Qualifications for the Program Supervisor of Street Outreach:
- A High school diploma.
- 5-7 years of experience working with adolescent youth and young adults
- Strong background in applying trauma-informed and healing-centered care practices.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
- They shall never have been convicted of any child abuse offense.
- Possess a valid driver's license and driving record
- They shall be able to work untraditional hours including nights and weekends based on the needs of the program operations.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. X Occasionally
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. X Occasionally
- Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. X Occasionally
