Position Title: Case Aid (FT) - ($20.30hr to $23.90hr)

Essential Functions of the Case Aid:
- Provide safe transportation for youth to scheduled medical, therapy or other associated appointments and family visitations. Document all trip information per protocol.
- Support the Life Skill Case Manager with day to day functions, and be a role model for youth who are learning household and daily living skills
- Organize and prepare weekly meal plans that are reviewed and shared with the young adults.
Qualifications for the Case Aid:
- Minimum of Associates Degree. High School Diploma or GED required with 1-3 years experience considered.
- An individual 21 years of age or older, with the ability to identify with and adapt to the goals and philosophies of the independent living program. Candidates with lived experience may be considered..
- Possess sound judgment and knowledge of adolescent development and behavior.
- Display organizational skills and be highly adept at managing multiple tasks and assignments.
- Successful team members are creative thinkers, are flexible in their approaches to people and projects, and are capable of working with diverse groups of the population.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license including vehicle insurance and inspection on any vehicle used for daily work and transportation of clients.
- Must receive a passing score on annual motor vehicle clearance to be eligible to operate agency vehicles.
- Ability to navigate stairs is highly preferred (as some locations are not always handicap accessible).
- Proficient in computer knowledge & skills (i.e. Microsoft Windows software); familiarity with the operations of external databases and Google Suite is desired.
- Never have been convicted of any prohibited criminal or child abuse offense.
Preferred Qualifications for the Case Aid
- BA in social work or similar degree in human services is preferred, as well as one to three years of related experience in the field.
Physical Requirements for the Case Aid:
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. X Constantly
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. X Occasionally
- Moving from one worksite to another X Occasionally
- Ability to navigate stairs. X Constantly
