Thrive Residential Coordinator

Position: FT - Thrive Residential Coordinator - ($22hr - $25hr)

Location: Allentown

Essential Functions for the Thrive Residential Coordinator:

  • Provide high quality leadership and supervision to team members, volunteers and interns in all program settings and foster a culturally sensitive, youth-centered environment.
  • Develop and facilitate programming which includes daily routines, daily house meetings, life skills groups weekly, and recreation activities as appropriate.
  • Attend both external and internal agency training and workshops; complete and pass all required training hours and annual training as set forth in the funder and licensing regulations.
  • Effectively utilize CSEC training to identify potential indicators of exploitation and use preventative therapeutic interventions as required.

Qualifications for the Thrive Residential Coordinator:

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with adolescents is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services OR an equivalent combination of experience (in the field) with higher education is preferred.
  • An individual 21 years of age or older, with the ability to identify with and adapt to the goals and philosophies of the Thrive program. Candidates with lived experience.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license including vehicle insurance and inspection on any.
  • vehicle used for daily work and transportation of clients. Must receive a passing score on annual motor vehicle clearance to be eligible to operate agency vehicles.
  • Never have been convicted of any prohibited criminal or child abuse offense.

Physical Requirements for the Thrive Residential Coordinator:

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Occasionally
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Occasionally
  • Ability to navigate stairs is highly preferred (as some locations are not always handicap accessible). Constantly
