Essential Functions of the Therapist:

  • Therapist’s time will be spent providing direct, in-person services according to established program timeframes and protocols.
    • To provide individual, parent, family group counseling services to clients in client homes, schools, office, and other settings as appropriate within the context of outreach services and according to treatment plans.
  • To complete and submit to the case file all required clinical documentation in a professional manner within established program expectations and time frames o To complete child/adolescent and parent intake interviews and their subsequent dictation according to established program time frames and protocol.
  • To achieve stated treatment goals with assigned youth or families as identified by program expectations.

Minimum Qualifications of the Therapist:

  • A Master’s Degree in a human service discipline and one-year of CASSP experience is necessary.
  • A Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to meet clients in the community is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications of the Therapist:

  • A Therapist I shall be a mature person with sound judgment and represent an appropriate role model to youth and families.
  • He/she/they must be an individual who has never been convicted of any child abuse offenses.
  • The candidate’s race, sex, religion, sexual orientation, or state of physical ability shall not be considered when hiring for this position.

Physical Requirements of the Therapist I:

  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. X Occasionally
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. X Occasionally
  • Moving from one worksite to another X Occasionally
