We are currently looking for a qualified applicant to fill the following position: FT- Intake and Therapy Specialist ($17.50hr - $19hr)
The Intake and Therapy Specialist is responsible for managing client intakes, overseeing the incoming of referrals from community agencies, serving as the clinical liaison for the program, and working with families for therapy as needed. The Intake and Therapy Specialist is under the authority of the Senior Vice President and reports directly to the Clinical Supervisor and Associate Director
Core Functions of Position:
The Intake and Therapy Specialist shall be a mature individual with the ability to articulate and implement the philosophy of The Independent Living Program. The Intake and Therapy Specialist will possess sound judgement and strong clinical and youth work skills. They will have a demonstrated ability to function well as a team member. They shall never have been convicted of any child abuse offense. They shall possess a minimum of three years' experience working with adolescents and a Master's degree in human services, counseling, social work, or other related field.
