Clinical Supervisor/BCBA

We are currently looking for a qualified applicant to fill the following position: FT - Clinical Supervisor/BCBA - ($85K)


Job Description: Under the President and CEO and Senior Vice President's authority, the Administrative Director's supervision, and the Clinical Director's supervision, the Behavior Analyst/Behavior Consultant-ABA/Behavior Consultant/Assistant Behavior Consultant- ABA is responsible for the contact with and treatment services to youth and families; contact with community agency personnel; administrative documentation of services provided and obtaining supervision according to IBHS guidelines.


Essential Functions:
  1. To provide 90% of prescribed services to clients including behavioral observation as assigned by the Administrative Director.
  2. To provide weekly clinical supervision to any necessary IBHS staff members in individual as well as group formats as indicated by the program requirements.
  3. To complete child/adolescent and parent intake interviews and their subsequent documentation according to established program time frames and protocol.
  4. To complete treatment plans, medication updates, Family Action Plans, and assessments for each youth assigned according to program protocol.
  5. To complete 16 hours of annual training per state regulations.
  6. To provide case documentation (progress notes, activity logs) and timesheets in a timely manner in accordance with program policies.
  7. To obtain supervision for one hour twice a month according to state regulations.
Key Functions:
  1. To provide ongoing communication between various team members, including the IBHS staff as well as the Administrative Director and Case Manager.
  2. To represent the program in interagency team, psychological evaluations, and other meetings as deemed necessary.
  3. To represent the program services provided to an individual/family in court if subpoenaed.
  4. To provide crisis response plans to families for use in times of need. To answer crisis calls during regular business hours.
  5. To follow the policies, procedures, and rules stated in the agency Personnel Policies, Employee Handbook, Computer Security Manual, the Code of Business Ethics and Program Procedure manual.
  6. To immediately report to the Administrative Director 1.) Any situation in which a child, family member or another person is at risk of imminent harm and /or 2.) A death occurs in an open case or a case open at the agency within the last 90 days.
  7. To immediately report to the supervisor any situation in which a client is threatening to sue Valley Youth House.
  8. To research, gather, and design trainings as specified by his/her supervisor and to Lead these trainings for other BHRS staff when asked by supervisor.
Other Duties:
  1. To complete other related tasks as appropriate or assigned.
  2. Support agency values and goals.

Qualification: A Behavior Analyst/Behavior Consultant- ABA/Behavior Consultant/Assistant Behavior Consultant- ABA for IBHS shall be a mature person with sound judgment and represent an appropriate role model to youth and families. He or she must be an individual who has never been convicted of any child abuse offenses.The agency shall not discriminate against staff or individuals receiving services on the basis of race, color, creed, disability, religious affiliation, ancestry, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, or economic status, and must observe all applicable State and Federal statutes and regulations. They must have an acceptable driving record, a valid driver's license, and a reliable mode of transportation.  The candidate must also be able to test negative on a drug screen.

Behavior Analyst requirements: A Master's degree in human services with a Pennsylvania license as a psychiatrist, psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, certified nurse practitioner, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist.  The individual also needs to have either a BCBA or other graduate level certification in ABA.
