Position: Outdoor Activities and Games Specialist

Program: Camp Fowler

Salary: $18hr - $22hr

Essential Functions Outdoor Activities and Games Specialist

• Develop and lead engaging age and skill appropriate outdoor group activities and games 
• Maintain an inventory of program supplies related to the outdoor group activities.
• Ensure that safety procedures and protocols are followed by staff and campers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Professional experience working with children from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience and interest in the area of outdoor group activities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Enthusiasm, a spirit of flexibility, and high degree of initiative
• Experience supervising staff in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
• Previous summer camp experience
• A sense of humor.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant movement around the camp.
• Ability to work outside during the summer months.
• Frequent standing and sitting.
• Frequent moving of objects up to 20 pounds.
